Braids, Hair

Hair Reminder

By now, my obsess of braids are cut short due to the unfortunate event that leads to my decision to trim my hair shorter......................OR the real factor is I am really bored with long hair that I kept for more than 10 years now. So  this is a reminder for myself that if I will be having my long hair again and see those pinterest ladies have a cute braid and I get de-motivated by it, I want to see this photos and say "if I can do it before, I can do it again"

(note: this is not my head/hair, my colleague has a long beautiful hair waiting for my itchy hands to do braid on it)

This is my hair and my attempt to do Hunger Games braid, which I admit I haven't watch that movie but it is a very edgy braid to wear.

Fish Braid

Overall, it is not as difficult as it looks but oh man oh man, did my arms suffered when I tried my first braid. Practice makes perfect!

(note: all of my photos taken by my Nokia, hence the need to twist my arms around the back of my hair is obvious. )

Awesome Hard Rock

 Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

We are young, we are rocking and we are staying at Hard Rock Hotel, Penang! It has been a while back when I first visited Penang. Back then there wasn't any Hard Rock Hotel nor super expensive ala-Miami apartments. It is just a place with a lot of great foods and beaches.

                                         The entrance

Fast forward to 2012, Hard Rock Hotel is the talked of the town ,the IT place, the place where Malaysian can experience Hard Rock Hotel other than at Bali or Pattaya. For me, it is just another place to take more pictures! muah aha ha ha...

From balcony. Seaview Deluxe.

My travel buddy and one of my close friend, Mazian is the culprit who brought me here.

The price for one room per  night is making my skin crawl and my purse crying. Though I am sure by now it is crying of joy as I keep promoting Hard Rock Hotel as if I owned Hard Rock. Nice thought huh?

Seaview Deluxe Room

Bathroom that you can choose to let everyone see you in the bathroom...or you can choose to let Elvis see you in the bathroom...

Furniture in the hotel..if I want to feel important....

If you wondering if there's any other attraction apart from the Hotel, generally speaking, Penang is the coolest place. I will go back soon enough and will update more. For now, my main focus would be the hotel itself. The amazing Hard Rock Hotel which makes me wonder if The Beatles owns it as The Beatles are all over the place. Seriously... like this...

The beaches are nice too but I admit once I went to the Hotel, I don't even care about the beach! So if you are wondering if there any activities to do at the beach, there is, beach boys will come up to you and tell you about the package. Sorry, I can't tell that much of details about beach activity as hotel awesomeness is too overwhelms, my ears is hearing only rock and roll.

Dining Area/ Restaurant

(I have a feeling that James Bond might walking towards me...)

Not feeling beachy, just go to the swimming pool area though it keep me wondering why people wearing big sunglasses in the pool? Any explanation?

Cabana pool which cost me RM20 per hour... is it worth it? yes, it made me feel like Paris Hilton.. fat Paris Hilton..

Random image from Batu Ferringhi stretch of stalls...

Well...that's all folks! I apologize for causing you a hint of jealousy.Just to be fair, I am bragging ..cause I was there and you are NOT...muah a ha ha haha.. on serious and sincerely note, be here and have fun! ^_^

until next time...

Have a great weekend!

Grand Opening Of H & M, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

H & M Opening Day

The historical retail date was September 22, 2012. The location is in the middle of busy metropolitan Kuala Lumpur, my heart and soul of all retail fantasies. They were buzzing it for so long now and it did happen on this day. Grand opening with full red carpet with a lot of people queing up to enter the 3 floor store, which by far is the grandest store I ever seen in KL. Much more I-Have-Wet -Fantasy-Shopping than Uniqlo.  seriously.

Of course, I didn't manage to get in and I avoid myself to go in because I don't want to burn my money that fast. I  have tendency to do that... aren't we all?

Here are some pictures from Opening Day. Apologize for lack of sharpness in the picture. I was taking it from my phone.

The price was OK and affordable than Forever 21 and Uniqlo.  I am not sure the collection. I am no fashionita. My fav style would be jeans and round-neck top with cardigans. Not much of imagination is it? Minimalist is the best. You can look polish whenever, whatever ( yes, before you continue  to sing Shakira's song, I did that already ).

If I buy something in H &M after this, probably at Basic section. When I was in Europe, the only thing I love about  H & M is their legging and socks. So probably I will buy the same thing as well... or more depends on my lust for H & M.

Have a great day !

LIfe is Funny

Cha Koi and Hair

Morning, people! hmm.. well.. I am pretty much going to sleep soon after but I have to type this down right at this very moment, before my short term memory loss hitting me as I found it very funny. If you are wondering what is connection with Cha Koi and Hair and if you are wondering what in the hell is Cha Koi, well, let me show you rather than explaining to you.....

 (pic credit: Be Indulged)

The connection between this lovely Chinese bread who often eat it with porridge is that the person who sells this to me just commenting on how dry is my hair and should I use cream and serum or mousse. Am I offended by it? I was at the beginning, as I was there looking all drooling, coming back from work look and tired as hell thinking "bitch, I want my RM2 Cha Koi and you gave me an advice on hair?!!! Keep rolling that dough before I rolled your head into it". Soon after I got my Cha Koi, I am a happy kitten, licking that big Cha Koi up and down (ok, I have to stop there. See, I know I am 30 when I can't control my vulgar words anymore). and I found that it is funny and appreciate the thought that she actually took her sweet time commenting on my hair, somebody did care about my hair after all. Thank you, thank you, stranger who sells Big fat Cha Koi. I am good when my tummy is full of good food.

So would you be pissed if some random stranger said that or did it happen to you?

Have a fun Wednesday!!! Kiss! Kiss!!

Labor Day and Other stories

Happy Labor Day, Americans

I know I am a bit late but still, it is still Monday in US and probably you guys having a picnic or barbeques at the moment... hmm.. Talking about food making me hungry... seriously. I tried to cook today as my parents weren't around and it turns out that I forget how to cook. It does not taste as good as before and it completely devastated me. Practice makes perfect!! I will do it again! Hurrraaahh!

Soooooooo what did I do in Labor Day ? Nothing, na-da. I just want to go back to work with my NEW HAIR..... yes.. shorter, bobbier and more crazy looking than before. Somehow I look like homeless in certain angle with this hair .... buuut anyway, I will post it or not... depends on the quality of the picture or quality of my camwhoring pose. Whichever follows. I will somehow got to revamp this pesona of just for make up blog. I tried but I knew I failed miserably because I like to mix things up and having 2 blogs does not help with my organized clutter ways either.

I want to say a big thanks whoever read my blogs, who loved it, who hates it and indifferent about it. I am thank you. Eventhough I admit I tried to followed some make up blogs and on how they did they blogs and before you says "just follow your own ways to blog and be yourself" kind of speech. Save it. I've already said it to myself. ok?

Yeah and I am and will be entering 3-series* populations.Just saying as I admit, I don't feel a bit older. Perhaps wiser. hopefully.

I should order a male stripper for my birthday. yes, I should.

Have a greeeeaaaattt Labor Daaaayyyy!!!

*3-series : A 30 year-old women who is not married, single and pretty much feeling like a immature teenager.
I give this term a credit to my fellow colleague, Pokde. ^_^
